Appellation: Vino Rosso
Grape varieties: 60% Merlot 40% Sangiovese
Winemaking: traditional winemaking in red. However the fermentation is interrupted before the exhaustion of the sugars with the aim of presenting a product with residual sugars, thus making this wine very sweet.
Wine tasting: purple red colour, like that of a bishop's hat. To the nose we appreciate the aromas derived from fermentation such as fresh berries. To the taste, its youth makes the experience intoxicating: sweetness and softness.
Available for a short period of time, it represents the first red produce of harvest. For this reason we named it after Saint Martino's day: November 11th, in other words 11/11. Saint Martino is, historically, the day when new wines are tasted for the first time, fresh from harvest. On Saint Martino's day every must becomes wine right away!
