Appellation: Rosso Piceno Superiore DOC
Grape varieties: 65% Montepulciano 35% Sangiovese
Winemaking: Fermentation and maceration of skins at 28°C for 15 days. Ageing in big, untoasted oak barrels for 12 months followed by refining in bottle.
Wine tasting: Ruby-red to garnet coloured. To the nose offers typical varietal flavours, and hints of ripe red fruits. Warm, soft, persistent to the palate, overall a balanced bodied wine.
