Winemaking: Sangiovese needs to be harvested when fully ripened to appreciate its qualities. Thanks to the exposure of our fields, we can harvest the grapes at the right moment. The winemaking happens in a traditional manner and maceration is prolongued for over 10 days so that we extract the noble tannins of this variety.
Wine tasting: Sangiovese never has a charged ruby red colour, this is a characteristic of this variety that's very pronounced in our wine. To the nose one appreciates berries, as it's typical of Sangiovese: cherry and raspberry. To the taste, the acidic vein of this variety is associated to the medium structure of the wine.  

Sangiovese is the most common variety in Italy, we couldn't not pay homage to the prince of Italian grapes.
